Advanced Tracker Configuration (Agile & Infinity Pro)

1 min read

The Agile and Infinity Pro trackers use advanced logic to manage location accuracy, home and away zones, and battery performance. By default, the trackers are configured to obtain GPS locations frequently — this improves tracking precision but naturally affects battery life.

A configuration tool is available that allows you to access and edit all device parameters beyond what’s available in the app. This enables full customization of your tracker settings for an optimized user experience.

Quick Start Guide

  1. Extract the Files:
Unzip the downloaded folder to a convenient location.
  2. Run the ParamEdit Tool:
Open ParamEditTool.exe to access all available tracker settings.
  3. Select Your Model:
    • EV-206M for Agile
    • EV-201M for Infinity Pro
  4. Load the Tracker Settings:
Click “Read All” to retrieve the current configuration from your device.

Adjusting GPS Intervals #

Under Tracking Settings, you’ll find two key options:

  • Active Status: GPS interval while in away mode (measured in seconds)
  • Inactive Status: Heartbeat interval (how often the tracker reports when stationary)

A shorter interval provides more frequent location updates but reduces battery life.
For extended battery performance, we recommend:

  • Active: 3600 seconds (1 hour)
  • Inactive: 43,200 seconds (12 hours)

If you’re unsure about any settings or would like to understand what other settings you can adjust — we’ll be happy to assist you further. Please also send us screenshots as this makes it easier to understand your perspective.
